How to Become a Commercial Pilot in India

Class XII with PCM

Complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths. Minimum 50% aggregate required for DGCA eligibility.

DGCA Medical — Class 1

Pass the Class 1 medical examination at DGCA-approved centres. Vision, fitness, and overall health assessed.

Student Pilot Licence (SPL)

Apply for SPL after clearing Air Regulations. Begin flying training at a DGCA-approved Flying Training Organisation (FTO).
